Our Arrival in Frankfurt, Germany

Our Arrival in Frankfurt Germany

We arrived in Frankfurt, Germany, on American Airlines Flight 70 from Dallas, Texas, at about 7:05 a.m.  After getting through customs and picking up our bags we met up with the Asplunds and the four of us proceeded to try and find Brother Davies.   We found Brother and Sister Davies and they welcomed us to Germany.   They loaded all of us and our bags in a vehicle and we were driven to where the Asplunds were going to stay.  They are staying in the building next to the office building.

We were told that the apartments aren’t as nice and they were moving people out of them so I was glad we weren’t staying there.   Then the Davies said they were taking us to an apartment that was above theirs temporary.  We were expecting to go to an apartment in Bad Vilbel.   Apparently the apartment we were going to was one used for visiting General Authorities and in a building owned by the church.   We were in the top floor which is 3rd floor in Germany but 4th floor in America.   There was an elevator so that was really nice having to get our luggage up there.

When they opened the door and showed us around, I was so impressed and fell in love with it because it was really nice.   It had a 2 bedroom, where they had a computer set up in one with a printer and a twin bed and closet.   It was nice.

The main bedroom was huge with lots of closet space and a balcony and carpet on the floor.   The bathroom was nice with a shower and a heating rack for your towels so that you.
